My name is Robert Vovk and I was born on 20th of September 1975 in Ljubljana (Slovenia) and since then I have been living in Grosuplje. I have been interested in "small black boxes" for taking pictures since I was a child. At that time I didn't have any chances for taking pictures, despite the fact that my father had old Zenit with a broken shutter.

Things in the future have changed dramatically. I bought Canon A40 in year 2002 and took several interesting pictures with it. Later I bought Sony DSC S-75 cause I liked its macro potencial. But I sold it quickly cause it had lot of noise in images and awful white balance. Just before end of year 2003 I bought myself second hand Canon G3 which I am still using. Canon G3 is very good prosumer camera with pleasant results.

I am especially interested in macro and nature photography, but I have open mind for any kind of style in taking pictures. Obstacles can be found in technics itself, bears and tigers are hard object to be pictured with 140mm ;) I am planning to buy a camera in range of Canon 20D. While surfing the net and seeking for other sites and people interested in digital-photography issues, I also work in Telecom and study in vocational college, where I enjoyed my english classes the most;). I can be found playing nine pins with my friends and cycling in the summer.
